Clément Bodet & Sophie Bridelance, Virginie Dyé, Marco Ercoli
Sophie Bridelance, Clément Bodet (photographers), Virginie Dye and Marco Ercoli (painters), brought together in a residency at the Ateliers du Plessix-Madeuc, all share a line of thinking both about the respective place of man and nature, and about their interactions. In a day and age searching for landmarks and shared values, these questions about the factors which go to make our human singularity quite naturally question artists. May these latter help us, through this exhibition, to usher in new ways of looking at things, and make connections between the perceptible and the intelligible.
“We have art so that we may not perish by the truth”. F. Nietzsche.
